Once a year, you should bring your pet in for a check-up.  This will include a full physical exam, from head to tail!  The veterinarian will discuss their exam findings and consult with you regarding dental care, deworming, nutrition or other topics based on their physical examination findings and any questions you may have.  

Please bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic.  It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts.  If you have something like this, share it with our team.  If not, let us know everything that you think will be important.  We can still work with whatever information you have. 

In some circumstances, we will refer you to a specialist who has advanced knowledge in areas outside our expertise. 

For large animals we offer ambulatory services in the Whitecourt area for such things as herd health consultations, large groups of pregnancy testing / semen testing, BSE's and post mortem examinations, uterine prolapses and down cow treatments, and horse castrations to name a few.
